Loading Japanese Sales Data into Veeva CRM

Japan Drug Network (JD-NET) sales data focuses on sales by distributors to hospitals and pharmacies in Japan. JD-NET daily sales data can be loaded and viewed in Fixed Reports via two reports designed specifically for the unique characteristics of this data:

  • A detailed daily report displays transaction level data by sales date in a tabular format. The report includes a grand total row at the bottom of the table. Report filters for account segment, time frame, territory(ies), market, product(s), and distributor and distributor branch(es) are available.
  • A summary report presents the sales data aggregated by territory(ies), distributor and distributor branch(es), hospital, and product. The report also displays in tabular format with options to view sales in daily, weekly, or monthly buckets and also includes a grand total row. Report filters for account segment, time frame, territory(ies), market, product(s), amount type, and distributor and distributor branch(es) are available.

A JD-NET sales data file is formatted by day with the following fields:

  • Delivery Price
  • Distributor Branch Id
  • Distributor Comment
  • Distributor Id
  • JD-NET Id
  • Hospital Id
  • Issue Date
  • Sales Amount
  • Settlement Amount

  • Pharmacy Id
  • Product Group
  • Receipt Comment
  • Sales Date
  • Sales Quantity
  • Settlement Price
  • Slip Number

JD-NET sales files can be loaded into Fixed Reports incrementally, as a complete replacement of existing data, as new data while keeping existing data intact, or as updates to existing data to correct the existing data.
