Scheduling a Call from a Suggestion

Calls can be configured so a user can schedule them directly from a suggestion. When a call is scheduled from a suggestion, the following things occur:
- Launches the Scheduler in Week view. The Call Report window pop-up view displays with a Planned Call scheduled on the date specified in the Planned_Call_Date_vod field. The default time is 8:00 a.m.
- Creates a Planned Call for the current date at 8:00 a.m. if the Planned_Call_Date_vod field is blank
- Stamps the Call Report with the value of the SuggestionID_vod field in the Suggestion_vod field in the Call2_vod object
Ensure the Accounts and Suggestions initial configurations are complete to use this functionality.
Using Calls from Suggestions
A confirmation prompt automatically displays when executing a Suggestion to schedule a call. This provides the user a chance to cancel a call from the suggestion and to save the suggestion for a future date and time. This only applies to Suggestions with a record type of Call_vod.
Suggestions can also prompt users to schedule a Call Objective using the Call_Objective_vod record type.
For example, Sarah Jones views a suggestion to schedule a Call with Clinton Ackerman. She executes the suggestion by selecting the icon and receives a prompt to confirm the creation of a call. She selects No to save the suggestion for another time.
