Components of Fixed Reports

Fixed Reports consist of the following components:

Sales Data Files

Sales data files include all the external customer data loaded and processed into Fixed Reports.

Data Map Templates

Data_Map_Template_vod records define how and what type of data is contained in sales data files. See Loading Data Map Templates and Loading Data Map Templates for JD-NET for more information.

Data Map Template Fields

Data_Map_Template_Field_vod records map the columns from sales data files to fields used by Fixed Reports. See Loading Data Map Templates for more information.

Analytics Product Groups

Analytics_Product_Group_vod contains customer-specific product data from sales data files translated to data for products defined in Veeva CRM, allowing Fixed Reports to display product-specific information. See Loading Product Data from Sales Data Files for more information.

Product Group Maps

Product_Group_Map_vod records map Analytics_Product_Group_vod records to the appropriate Product_vod object records. See Loading Product Data from Sales Data Files for more information.

Analytics Markets

Analytics_Market_vod records link Analytics_Product_Group_vod records to their appropriate sales data files. See Loading Analytic Markets for more information.

Analytics Layouts

Analytics_Layouts_vod records define the page layouts for the available Fixed Reports. Admins can add, remove, and move the available reports and controls on each page layout to manage the data end users can view. Analytics Files

Analytics_File_vod records represent the files loaded into Fixed Reports. Admins and users must not edit Analytics_File_vod records directly in Veeva CRM. Data processing via the Analytics Admin page handles all updates to Analytics_File_vod records. See Running Error Reports for Analytics Files for more information.

Analytics File Market Maps

Analytics_File_Market_Map_vod records represent the market mapping for Analytics_File_vod records. Analytics_File_Market_Map_vod records are populated and maintained by Fixed Reports. Admins and users must not edit Analytics_File_Market_Map_vod records.
