The following items are now available:

Announcements

Removing the View Media Library Visualforce Page

The View Media Library Visualforce page will be removed from all orgs with the 22R2.0 release. Users can access the CLM media library directly in the Veeva CRM Desktop app. If admins created custom tabs and assigned the View Media Library Visualforce page to those tabs, the tabs are not removed and display a message indicating the page is no longer supported. Admins can manually delete the custom tabs to remove the message for users.

Supporting Engage Sandbox Releases and CRM Desktop (Windows) in 22R1.3

Beginning with the 22R1.3 Production Release on June 30, 2022, Engage will have a sandbox available for testing before production releases. This enables admins to test upcoming Engage functionality in their sandbox orgs before deployment to production.

To use the new Engage Sandbox after the 22R1.3 Production release, create a support ticket with the list of CRM sandbox orgs to link to the Engage Sandbox. Admins can assign Engage licenses to test users once the sandbox org is linked to the Engage Sandbox.

Previously created meetings and groups are no longer available once the org is linked to the Engage Sandbox. Existing meetings must be rescheduled and created groups must be recreated.

See Supporting Engage and CRM Desktop Sandbox Releases for more information.

Approved Email On Lightning

The 22R2.0 release will update Approved Email to include the Lightning interface. These User Visible Changes are not planned to affect the current functionality and capabilities of Approved Email. The Lightning interface for Approved Email will be enabled by default for both the Browser Classic and Lightning platforms.

Improved Account Picker

To enable customers to easily find accounts, Veeva CRM 22R2 will include an improved search experience across many account-related entry points, including Sphere of Influence, Approved Email, Media, Survey Targets, Detail Pages and Call Attendee. The account search modals will be consistently presented, including standard and custom fields related to each account. Users will be able to select either a list view or table view.

An evaluation app will be available on June 30, 2022 to enable customers to test this functionality prior to the 22R2.0 release.

New Date for the 22R3.0 Major Release

The 22R3.0 major release is rescheduled to December 8, 2022 (previously December 15, 2022). To provide a three-week sandbox period, the 22R3.0 sandbox release is rescheduled to November 17, 2022. Additionally, the 22R2.3 minor release is canceled to support rescheduling the 22R3.0 major release. For a full list of the release dates for 2022, see About CRM Releases.

Authentication Change for SAP Concur Integration

SAP Concur will change how authentication works for integrations with partner software, including Veeva CRM. Any customers with CRM environments connected to SAP Concur need to reconnect and authenticate from within Concur’s App Center. This change will be available in the 22R1 (April '22) release. If connections are not updated by June 30th, 2022 customers may see errors in their integration. See SAP Concur Overview for more information.

Deprecating Platform Support

The following platforms will no longer be supported after the 23R3.0 release:

After the 23R3.0 release, orgs which have not transitioned to Lightning will continue to be upgraded but Veeva CRM functionality will not be supported on the Browser (Classic) platform. Functionality is not guaranteed to work as expected on the Browser (Classic) platform after 23R3.0, and Veeva CRM updates and bug fixes will no longer be available for Browser (Classic).

End of Support

See End of Support for a list of deprecated features, devices, and OS versions.
