Preventing Duplicate Time Off Territory Entries

Users can be prevented from creating Time Off Territory records overlapping an existing entry to avoid creating support issues or data issues from duplicate Time Off Territory records.
For example, Sarah Jones attempts to create a TOT record for Monday. An all-day TOT record already exists for a company holiday on Monday. When Sarah attempts to create a record for Monday, an error message displays. She cannot create the new TOT entry as long as it overlaps with the existing entry.
Configuring Prevention for Duplicate Time Off Territory Entries
Ensure initial configuration is complete before enabling this functionality.
Populate the PREVENT_TOT_OVERLAP_vod Veeva Setting with a value of 2 to prevent users from creating overlapping Time Off Territory records.
