Scheduling Calls in Month View

For users who prefer to plan for several weeks at a time, My Schedule’s Month View enables users to efficiently plan calls on a monthly basis.

For example, Sarah Jones prefers to plan her calls in the context of her monthly schedule. She uses Month View to see all her scheduled activities at once. She has events scheduled at Newton Memorial Hospital on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, so she schedules her remaining calls for HCPs at Newton Memorial Hospital on those two days.

Ensure initial configuration is complete to use this functionality.

Scheduling Calls in Month View

To schedule a new call from month view:

  1. Select the appropriate date.
  2. Enter the account’s name in the search dialog and select Go.
  3. Select the check box for the appropriate account.

  4. Select Add to schedule the call for the selected date and account.

Alternatively, drag an account from the scheduler panel to the appropriate date. For either method, the time of the call defaults to 8 AM.

To open a detail window with high level details for the call or entry as well as context sensitive actions, hover over the entry. Selecting an entry opens the entry’s record—for example, the Call2_vod record or Event record. Users can access up to one year prior to the current date on the calendar.


To schedule a new call from month view in Lightning for My Schedule:

  1. Left select a time slot on the calendar.
  2. Select Add Call to display the account search modal.
  3. Enter search terms and select the appropriate account from the modal.
  4. Select OK to create the call.
