Engage Connect Reports

Veeva compiles a number of reports with data from Engage Connect and delivers them to customers via SFTP or email. These reports allow customers to analyze how their users and HCPs interact with each other in Engage. See Reporting on Engage Connect for more information on how to receive Engage Connect report files from Veeva.

The following Engage Connect reports are available for customers:

Chat Detail Report

The Chat Detail report (lsu_chats_<COMPANY>_<DATETIME>.xlsx) contains all the raw chat data for CRM users in the last 15 months, including all chat messages sent to or received by CRM users. Some examples insights customers can gain from this report include:

  • Which users are chatting?
  • What is the context of the chats?
  • Are the chats compliant?

Identifying information for HCPs are included in this report even if they are not connected to at least one CRM user in the company.

Chat Activity Report

The Chat Activity report (extract_lsu_chat_activities_<COMPANY>_<DATETIME>.csv) tracks clicks for all messages containing links in the last 15 months, starting April 2022. This includes chat messages between CRM users, and between CRM users and HCPs.

For chat threads between HCPs, this report only includes clicks on links in forwarded messages if the original author of the message is a CRM user. Clicks for links in the optional message accompanying a forwarded message are not included.

Some example insights customers can gain from this report include:

  • Which content is clicked most often?
  • Which content is never clicked?
  • On what device size are users viewing the content?

Identifying information for HCPs are included in this report only if they are connected to at least one CRM user in the company.

The Forwarded Messages report (extract_forward_messages_<COMPANY>_<DATETIME>.csv) tracks forwarded messages when the message forwarded was originally sent by a CRM user for all chat data in the last 15 months, starting April 2023. This includes chat messages between HCPs, and between CRM users and HCPs. Some example insights customers can gain from this report include:

  • Who is forwarding messages and to whom?
  • Which CRM user’s messages are forwarded most often?
  • Are any CRM users’ messages or content going viral?

Identifying information for HCPs are included in this report only if they are connected to at least one CRM user in the company.

The Meeting Requests report (extract_lsu_meeting_requests_<COMPANY>_<DATETIME>.csv) tracks the meeting invite requests sent by CRM users and the responses since April 2022. Some example insights customers can gain from this report include:

  • How many requests resulted in each type of response (accepted, rejected, no response)?
