Veeva CRM Minor Release Notes – 20R1.2 (201.11.0)
The items listed below were added in 20R1.2 (201.11.0).
Features
Features are new functionality in the Veeva application.
Capturing Consent Using Confirmation Emails
Users can choose between capturing a signature or sending a double opt-in confirmation email to confirm consent. An HCP who grants opt-in consent verbally receives an email with a link to verify the email address and confirm consent. The HCP must select the link to finish opting in. This allows the user to capture consent using the most appropriate method for the setting. Watch the Capturing Consent Using Confirmation Emails video to learn how to use this functionality.
Inline Editing for MyInsights Content
MyInsights developers can create visualizations that create and update records in Veeva CRM to track activity, save selected filter values, or save custom data without navigating away from a visualization. Customers can capture and analyze user activity in MyInsights to improve visualization content.
Hosting an Engage Webinar Online
Engage Webinar has been deprecated and is replaced by Virtual Events.
Hosts can schedule and conduct Engage Webinars from the Browser (Classic) platform, enabling home office or marketing employees to host virtual events, for example marketing webinars, that can host large numbers of attendees. Online Engage Webinars use the Engage Host app and offer an experience similar to hosting an Engage meeting online. If a webinar host does not have the Engage Host app installed, they are guided through the installation process when they first try to start a webinar scheduled Online.
Direct Order Quantity Entry on iPad
Users can now add order lines directly to an order using the Product Selector on iPad. This allows users to quickly find the relevant product and add the desired quantity to the order line.
User Visible and Behavior Changes
Most new features require some configuration, however users are able to view the following changes immediately:
Approved Notes
- Online: The Notes modal that displays information about violations and allows users to provide feedback on violations is now larger, allowing users to view more text without scrolling.
CLM
- iPad: External links selected from PDFs in CLM presentations now open in an overlay, allowing information to be shared in Engage.
Order Management
- iPad: iPad users are now able to add items to an order using the existing Product Selector filters to quickly find and add the quantity of a product as well as the corresponding Order Line. For more information, see Direct Order Quantity Entry on iPad.
