22R3.3 Functionality Guide
The Functionality Guide is intended for Sales Operations, Business Administrators, System Integrators, and others responsible for making decisions about what features are needed for end users to be successful and deciding which features work together with existing customer configurations.
To prevent systems, for example, bots or firewalls, from confirming Events Management RSVPs or multichannel activities, admins can configure a customized confirmation step for email recipients. This is similar to the confirmation step used for consent confirmation emails.
Orgs using the Lightning for Events Management sandbox beta can view the Next Steps section from an EM_Event_vod record on the Browser (Lightning) platform, enabling event organizers to view guidance for the planning process provided by the event admin.
The Next Steps section displays on EM_Event_vod records as a column to the right of the record’s details that users can expand or collapse by selecting the Expand or Collapse arrow button in the column header.
The Next Steps section also displays when creating or editing an EM_Event_vod record.
Adding Walk-in Attendees for Lightning in Events Management (Sandbox Beta)
Event organizers in orgs using the Lightning for Events Management sandbox beta can add walk-in attendees to an event. This enables event organizers on the Browser (Lightning) platform to manually enter walk-in information that may have been collected outside of CRM.
Event organizers can add walk-in attendees by selecting the New Walk-in button in top right corner of the Attendee Reconciliation modal.
This displays the New Walk-in modal, which organizers can use to enter details about the walk-in attendee.
Event organizers in orgs using the Lightning for Events Management sandbox beta can search for attendees outside of their own territory, enabling them to invite these accounts to their events.
Organizers can search for out of territory attendees from the Select Attendees modal by enabling the Include Outside Territory toggle.
Out of territory accounts display as gray icons in the search results.
