Creating Products in the Product Catalog

Veeva CRM's Product Catalog contains all product types available for use within the various modules of the application. There are several product types provided in the product catalog. Customers can also add new types that meet their business needs. For a complete list of available product types, see Product Catalog Components.

To add products to the Product Catalog:

  1. Select the Product Catalog tab.
  2. Select New.
  3. Add information to the available fields as needed on the New Product Catalog page. Only the Product Name field is required. See the Field Summary by Object for details on each field.
  4. Select Save.
