Fixed Units of Measure on Order Lines

  • CRM Desktop (Windows)
  • iPad

Customers use pre-packaging to manage stock and shipments of certain products only sold in multiples. For these products, ordering in multiples is defined in the Quantity_per_Case_vod field (in the product catalog for that product). The Fixed_UM_vod field must be selected for that product in the Product Catalog.

If the Fixed_UM_vod field is selected, users can only enter the pre-defined quantity. If the field is not selected, users can enter amounts in loose quantities.

For example, Sarah Jones places an order for Cholecap 10mg, which can only be sold in multiples of 5. She adjusts the quantity to 10 and adds it to the order.
