Administrators can prevent specific products from displaying in the Cycle Plan Target or Account Cycle Plan views.
For example, Sarah Jones is a new member of Amy Adams's team. Sarah has not been trained on Restolar. To make Sarah's scheduling more streamlined, Amy prevents Restolar calls from displaying in Sarah's cycle plan.
Configuring Excluding Products from a Classic Cycle Plan
Ensure initial configuration is complete before enabling this functionality.
To enable this feature, add the No_Cycle_Plans_vod field to the Products page layout on the Product_vod object. When this field is selected, the specified product does not display in the edit or view modes for the Cycle Plan Target or Account Cycle Plan detail views regardless of the products selected in the user’s My Setup or what calls and details have been completed by the user.
All other products that display on the Cycle Plan Target are sorted and presented in display order. Any product without a display order is listed alphabetically after the Display Order products.
