Displaying the Negative Sample Warning Indicator
- Browser (Classic)
- CRM Desktop (Windows)
- Windows Tablet
Displaying a negative sample warning indicator on call reports and sample transaction records helps users avoid disbursing or transferring more samples than are in their inventory for a given sample lot.
For example, you create a sample transfer for one hundred boxes of Cholecap. When you enter 100 in the quantity field on the sample transfer record, a warning indicator displays next to the quantity field since there are less than one hundred boxes of Cholecap remaining in your inventory for the selected sample lot.
Configuring the Negative Sample Warning Indicator
Ensure initial configuration is complete before enabling this functionality.
To display the negative sample warning indicator, select the check box for the ENABLE_NEG_SAMPLE_INDICATOR Veeva Setting.
Using the Negative Sample Warning Indicator
When users enter a sample quantity higher than the quantity in their inventory, a warning indicator displays next to the quantity field on the call report or sample transaction record. To dismiss the warning, users can either reduce the quantity or select a different sample lot.
