Displaying the Negative Sample Warning Indicator

  • Browser (Classic)
  • CRM Desktop (Windows)
  • Windows Tablet

Displaying a negative sample warning indicator on call reports and sample transaction records helps users avoid disbursing or transferring more samples than are in their inventory for a given sample lot.

For example, Alice Adams creates a sample transfer for one hundred boxes of Cholecap. When she enters 100 in the quantity field on the sample transfer record, a red asterisk displays next to the quantity field since there are less than one hundred boxes of Cholecap remaining in her inventory for the selected sample lot. Alice reduces the quantity so that she does not create a transfer for more product than she actually has, then submits the sample transaction.

Using the Negative Sample Warning Indicator

When users enter a sample quantity higher than the quantity in their inventory, a red warning indicator displays next to the quantity field on the call report or sample transaction record. To dismiss the warning, users can either reduce the quantity or select a different sample lot.
