Configuring CLM for Engage Meetings on Veeva CRM on Desktop

Additional configuration is required to enable Online Engage hosts to share CLM presentations during an Engage meeting.

To enable hosts to share CLM content on Veeva CRM on Desktop:

  1. Grant the admins the following permissions:

  3. Activate the appropriate picklist value on the Device_vod field on the VMobile_Object_Configuration_vod object for the appropriate platform:
    • CRM_Engage_vod for CRM Desktop (Windows)

      The label for the CRM_Engage_vod value is CRM_Desktop_Windows_vod.

    • CRM_Desktop_MacOS_vod for CRM Desktop (Mac)

  4. Activate the following VMOCs where Device_vod is CRM_Engage_vod or CRM_Desktop_MacOS_vod:

    Do not edit the VMOCs besides activating them, unless otherwise indicated.

    • Call2_vod – Select Metadata Only check box
    • Call2_Key_Message_vod – Select Metadata Only check box
    • Call2_Detail_vod – Select Metadata Only check box

    • CLM_Presentation_vod

      When using the Start_Date_vod field on the CLM_Presentation_vod object, the WHERE clause for this VMOC should filter CLM Presentations with a Start_Date_vod less than or equal to TODAY.

      Populate the WHERE clause with the following:

      WHERE SetupOwnerId in (@@VOD_SF_PROFILEID@@, @@VOD_MY_ORGID@@)

    • Message_vod

      Populate the WHERE clause with the following:

      WHERE Category_vod__c IN ('RemoteMeeting', 'iPad', 'CONTENT', 'CLM', 'Common') AND Language_vod__c IN (@@VOD_USER_LANG_CD@@,'en_US')

      Ensure there is only one active VMOC if the SYNC_CONFIGURATION_MODE_VOD Veeva Setting is set to 0.

  5. Navigate to Vault.

  6. Set CLM Content to Yes for all appropriate content.

    Do not set the Engage Content picklist to Yes. This setting is used by Engage for Portals and CoBrowse, not Engage.
