National Identifiers in Veeva CRM and Network

Multi-country orgs can pull in national and healthcare identifiers from Network for compliance purposes using Veeva-provided fields. This enables admins to populate this information in CRM without needing to create custom fields.

For example, Alice Adams administers a multi-country org and needs to add national and healthcare identifiers to her org for compliance purposes. These fields in CRM populate with information from Network when the two systems sync.

Configuring the Mapping

To configure this feature:

  1. Grant users the appropriate FLS permissions to the following Account fields:

    Account Field

    Admin FLS

    End User FLS

    National_Company_ID_vod

    Edit

    Read

    National_Healthcare_Provider_ID_vod

    Edit

    Read
  2. Place the National_Company_ID_vod and National_Healthcare_Provider_ID_vod fields on the appropriate Account page layouts. This step is optional.

Fields populate and update during the Network Bridge process.
