Network Account Search

To activate the Network Account Search, enable the Veeva Setting ACTIVATE_NETWORK_ACCOUNT_SEARCH and set the Network_Customer_Master_Mode_vod setting to 1. Both these settings can be found in the Network Setting group under Custom Settings, Manage Network Settings.

If utilizing NAS online, remove Create permission for the Account object for the user profile.

Configuring Territory Assignment

Prerequisite for Configuring Territory Assignment

Users must have read/write access to the ATL object.

Use the chart below to configure Territory Assignment:

Territory Selection Method	Configuration	Territories assigned to Account
Automatically assign to the first territory in the list	The Territory_vod field on the Account object is read only and NETWORK_NAW_ASSIGN_ALL_TERR setting is FALSE	All previous territories + First territory in the list
Automatically assign All territories to the Account	The Territory_vod field on the Account object is read only and NETWORK_NAW_ASSIGN_ALL_TERR setting is TRUE	All previous territories + All of the User's assigned territories
Allow User to choose which territories via a multi-select	The Territory_vod field on the Account object is NOT read only (ignores the NETWORK_NAW_ASSIGN_ALL_TERR setting) Territory field will always be required for the multi-select option (otherwise the User would not be able to add the Account to their view) Territories shown will be all territories the User is assigned to The territory selector window displays only if the Enable User Assigned Territory Veeva Custom Setting is enabled.	All previous territories + Territories selected by User
