Migrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud Configurations

Users can migrate a particular Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration configuration to another environment. This is useful for testing a configuration before deploying it to production, or restoring a configuration after a sandbox refresh.

Using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Configuration Migration

Select Export Configuration on the Marketing Cloud Administration Console home page to enable users to save the configuration to an external file. The configuration is exported in .xml format and includes everything configured in the current org except the Marketing Cloud client secret.

Select Import Configuration on the Marketing Cloud Administration Console home page to enable users to select the exported xml configuration file from their local drive. A pop-up displays warning the user the import overwrites existing configurations.
