Mapping Cvent Field Values

If a Cvent field or question is mapped to a CRM field supporting Value Mapping, admins must also map each value of the CRM field to a value in the Cvent question.

For example, an org has a picklist in CRM called Specialty with the following values:

  • Oncology
  • Cardiology
  • Pulmonology

When the admin integrates Cvent with Events Management, she maps this field to a SingleSelect question in Cvent called Physician Specialty with the following values:

  • Oncologist
  • Cardiologist
  • Pulmonologist

After creating the Field Mapping, the admin also maps each individual picklist value in CRM with the equivalent value in Cvent.

To map field values:

  1. Navigate to the appropriate Field Mapping.
  2. Navigate to the Values picklist.
  3. Select New.
  4. Populate the following fields:

    • Cvent Value – The value from the Cvent field or question
    • Salesforce Value – The value from the CRM field

  5. Select Save.

Do not create duplicate Form Mapping records.
