Creating Cvent Object Mappings
For every linked Cvent instance, admins must map objects in CRM to objects in Cvent using Cvent Object Mappings.
To create Cvent Object Mappings:
- Navigate to the Cvent Instance tab.
- Select the appropriate Cvent instance record.
- Navigate to the Cvent Object Mapping related list.
- Select New.

Enter the following information:
- Cvent Object Name
- Salesforce Object Name
- External ID API Name – Required for any Object Mapping with Contact as the Cvent object. Used to search records of the CRM object for the linked Contact in Cvent.
