Creating and Mapping Cvent Request Forms

Cvent Meeting Request Forms are used to create Meeting Requests in Cvent. Cvent Meeting Request Forms map to Event Types and Countries, so admins must create Cvent_Request_Form_vod records for every Cvent Meeting Request Forms used in the integration.

To create a Cvent Request Form record:

  1. Navigate to the Cvent Instance tab.
  2. Select the appropriate Cvent Instance record.
  3. Navigate to the Cvent Request Form related list.
  4. Select New to create a record.
  5. Enter the following information:

    • Cvent Request Form Name
    • Cvent Request Form ID

    Cvent Request Form IDs can be retrieved using the following Cvent endpoint:
    https://developer-portal.cvent.com/documentation#operation/listMRF

Mapping Cvent Request Forms to Event Configurations

Admins must map Cvent Request Forms to Event Configurations in CRM by creating Cvent Form Mapping records for each Cvent Request Form/Event Configuration pair.

To create a Cvent Form Mapping record:

  1. Navigate to the Cvent Instance tab.
  2. Select the appropriate Cvent Instance record.
  3. Navigate to the Cvent Form Mapping related list.
  4. Select New.
  5. Enter the following information:

    • Event Configuration – Use the lookup to select the appropriate Event Configuration
    • Event Configuration Country – The Event Configuration Country mapped to the Cvent Request Form

      To link all events from this Event Configuration to the Meeting Request Form, regardless of country, leave this field blank.

    • Cvent Request Form – The Cvent Request Form mapped to the Event Configuration.
    • Attendee Sync Status – The Attendee status required for sending Attendees from these Event Configurations to Cvent. This is only required if you want to send attendees to Cvent.
    • Speaker Sync Status – The Event Speaker status required for sending Event Speakers from these Event Configurations to Cvent. This is only required if you want to send Event Speakers to Cvent.

Do not create duplicate Form Mapping records.
