Managing Report Filters

Certain filters can be removed from Fixed Reports by removing the corresponding custom buttons from the appropriate Analytics_Layouts_vod object page layout. Removing a button removes visibility to the corresponding filter in the Report Options section of the report and the report’s underlying query runs without conditions related to the filter.
Configuring Report Filters
To allow admins to remove report filters, select the ENABLE_VINSIGHTS_FILTERS_CONFIG Veeva Setting check box.
If you enable the setting, you must also place all the desired custom buttons on the respective page layouts as they do not display by default with this setting activated.
