Selecting Territories for Surveys

Overview

Survey creators using the Veeva MC Engine to publish Surveys can select multiple territories and child territories for survey publishing. If Territories_vod is on a page layout, a list of available Territories displays in the drop-down menu for the survey. Survey designers can select the appropriate check box next to each territory to include in the list of survey targets.

Children of the selected territories in the hierarchy are automatically selected. Users who have visibility to the selected territories or to those territories' children are included in the survey. For example, if territory 101 is selected, the users from that territory are included in the survey.

Configuring Survey Publishing through the MC Engine

To configure this feature:

1. Grant Survey admins FLS Edit access to the Territories_vod field on the Survey object.

2. Grant end users FLS Read access to the Territories_vod field on the Survey object.

3. Verify that the Survey end user is aligned to at least one territory.
