Supporting Medical Event Sharing Rules on the iPad

Admins can configure Medical Event VMOCs to support Sharing Rules on the iPad. This enables Sharing Rules configured on the Browser platforms to be synced down and respected on the iPad platform.

Configuring Medical Event Sharing Rules on the iPad

To configure this feature:

1. Locate the Share: Medical Event(Medical_Event_vod__Share) VMOC for the iPad.
2. Select the Active_vod check box.

Any Sharing Rules created for the Medical_Event_vod object are respected on the iPad.

Sharing by Public Group, Role and Subordinates, and Territory and Subordinates is not supported on the iPad. This feature uses record-based sharing.
