The Add Attendee button is a custom button that allows users to search across Person Accounts, Contacts, and Users via a single search mechanism. Selection of an individual performs the following steps:
- Adds the Account, Contact, or User to the Event Attendees object for the current Medical Event
The Add Attendee button does not allow for duplicate records to be added to the Event Attendees section of a Medical Event.
- Any fields that match based on the Name of the field from the Medical Event object to the Event Attendee object will be copied down to the Event Attendee record that is created. An example of this, is the Start_Date_vod field that exists on both the Medical_Event_vod object and the Event_Attendee_vod object.
The Add Attendee button can be added to or removed from any Medical Event page layout.
