Surfacing Product Restrictions on the Account Timeline
Users can now view allowed and restricted products for each account. Only products assigned to the user display. This information enables users to quickly identify the products they are allowed to discuss with an account.
For example, Sarah Jones has a call with a new account, Dr. Marilyn Adams. When Sarah checks the allowed and restricted product, she sees she is not allowed to detail Cholecap and plans her call accordingly.
Configuring Product Restrictions on the Account Timeline
Ensure initial configuration is complete to use this functionality.
To enable this feature:
Grant the following permissions:

- Place the zvod_product_restrictions_vod field on the Account_Overview_Layout_vod object on the Account_Details_vod section of the Account Overview page layout.
Using Product Restrictions on the Account Timeline
If an account does not have restricted products, a message displays when the user selects the View link. The message text is stored in the NO_PRODUCT_RESTSRICTIONS_WARNING Veeva Message.
If the user does not have allowed products for that account, a message displays when the user selects the View link. The message is stored in the NO_PRODUCTS_ALLOWED_WARNING Veeva Message.
